Maryland Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program
Failed my car due to operator erro

When I took my car in for its emissions inspection, it failed because their machine could not read the car's engine computer.

I took the car in to the dealer, who tested the car and found that it was in perfect condition. My invoice states "emission station operator error in checking DME".

So, I'm out $99.95 for the diagnostic and several hours, and I still have to go back and have the car re-tested. What a ripoff!
