I recently reserved/visited to Mexico with my loved ones, where we hired an automobile thru Priceline. I got the CDW insurance at $11 daily within the CDW through Alamo because of better pricing. Envision my shock after I got to Mexico and was informed they didn't take the protection of course if I rejected their insurance and something occurred towards the vehicle, I'd need to shell out of wallet, after which obtain a compensation through the provider. I decided to consider the protection in Mexico since I have couldnot afford to displace an automobile easily totaled it and that I didn't feel just like investing any moment in a Mexican prison (if anything occurred and that I couldnot spend). Upon my return I approached Priceline via email and telephone. Their reaction, contact the insurance company to determine why Alamo in Mexico wouldn't take their protection.

Priceline's reaction was bad, for me, because their site does not tell naive tourists this program is just a compensation not merely protection paid towards the rental business. Many people may be ready to protect small incidents, but think about people who can't or those individuals who have greater than a problem, ie, a totaled out automobile??? Who are able to manage to displace a rental-car ($1000is) to subsequently document a state and expect compensation??? More disclosure on the site will become necessary. I intend to travel again but I'll never again use Priceline. Their customer support reaction was completely terrible.
