I have been ordering from Domino's Pizza, in Warrior Alabama 35180, for over 2 years. Due to consistant telemarketers, I had my number changed & made private 8 months ago. For 8 months I have ordered pizza with this new number. I usually just have to give them the number, they look me up in the computer... And boom, there I am, no problem! Today (8-28-11) however, I got a snoty little general manager, who would not EVEN listen to what I had to say about my prior orders or the fact that all the drivers there KNOW me! The "company policy" of NO private numbers on orders was strictly inforced. Really??? Well... Excuse me but when a customer spends AT LEAST a $100.00 a month & even gives generous tips to the drivers & has been placing orders on a private number... I would say a little patience & trying to work with a good paying, LOYAL customer, should be more than just following a dumbass rule!!! What ever happened to the notion that the CUSTOMER is always right, or at the very least... As a business, you should bend over backward to make that customer HAPPY! Needless to say I was HIGHLY upset with the "general manager" & I rasied my voice with her! I didn't verbally abuse her as I am SURE that would be her defense. I'm 54 years old & I do NOT treat people like that... However I am a little indignant when I am treated like a nobody & a possible thief just because I choose to have a private number! This so called "rule" needs a major fix!!! If a customer is WILLING to give their private number, it should be placed in the computer for future referrence! UNTIL I see an improvment re: this issue... I will be ordering my pizza from Pizza Hut!!!
