Crooks! Never do business here!!!
Simon is a total crook and his "boss" is even worse!
I was interested in a car that I saw online. Because I live 114 miles away, I tried to do as much over the phone as possible.
When I showed up the following happened;
The car interior of the car looked much worse.
Simon told me that it was a clean car with no lights on the dashboard and that he "drove it numerous times". It's a very clean car. When I turned the car on, it had a hard time starting. There were two lights on the dash (including the engine light).
The car had a very rough idle and the breaks was almost metal on metal!
Then to top it all off, after sending him pictures of my trade he said that he would give me slightly less than what Carmax offered. He turned around and offered me $4000 for a trade that Carmax offered $10,500. The book value was $11,000. I couldn't believe it. I reminded him that we had talked the previous day about it and he said that he would offer "slightly" less. NOT $6000 LESS!
A waste of trip, a waste of gas. Typical used car salesman. Bunch of crooks.
Never do business with someone you can't trust.
