I moved from Indiana to Ohio, and paid off the vehicle at the Beechmont Ave. Calcars in Ohio. They had 6 months to transfer the title so I could get it registered and taged with Ohio. They kept giving me the run around saying it is being fed-exed over.
Well, the car is now paid off and now they claim to have lost the title. They gave me a piece of paper saying that it was paid off, and said I could get everything taken care of with that.
The Ohio BMV told me that they can't do anything with that, they need the title to even issue a temporary tag.
So, now that the car is paid off I can't drive it because Calcars is to incompetnet to organize the titles to the vehicles they sell.
I feel if I paid the thing off I shouldn't have to go through all of this because of their incompentance. They always threw a fit if they thought if I didn't make a car payment by 5:00pm on Friday's, which in fact I would make my payment at 1:00-4:00pm. Every Friday, and they would call hounding me that I didn't make a payment.
I should NOT have to wait for them to apply for a lost title (so they say). The car lot in Indianapolis' Madison Ave. Store told me the finance center had it and for me to call them. I call the finance center and they tell me the Madison ave. Lot has it, and to call them.
Well, I've had it and ready to take action. I either want the title to my car or I go to court to get every penny back.
