Buyers beware! Extended Warranty issues, delayed tactics, partial payment, told mechanice to replace old parts associated with replacing head gasket problem.
Would not cover towing charge from one service center to one they said it had to be towed to for repairs.
Also did not cover 1st diagnostic charge to identify problem.
Would not accept 2 different centers diagnostic results showing head gasket was bad and required 2 more tests (days apart for inspections) to try to get out of covering what warranty was supposed to cover completely. Would not accept results even then, saying they would only pay partial.
These delayed tactics caused me to be without a vehicle for 13 days. They covered only 3 of those days.
Would they want used parts related to the head gasket put back in their cars? Absolutely not nor did I want it. My mechanic said it would only cause more problems that would mean more repairs.
As a Senior Citizen I refuse to accept this example of shoddy customer service from anyone without filing complaints where ever and as frequently as I can.
Never, never, never buy extended warranties for vehicles. Save the expensive price it costs you and put it away for repairs. Its worth the risk you may never need it but you will save yourself major stress and be able to get work done asap.
Shame on these companies who rip so many people off. Listen up people! It could be you next.
