I bought a ford fusion outright-cash for my daughter and grandson in the fall of last year. It has had like3 new batterys put in it, the odometer stopped working for awhile and came on suddenly again, the door locks do not all work all the time and one of the power windows stopped working in the middle of a snow storm. The dealership where we bought it - S. Jersey said sure we'll fix it - drop it off. I live in delaware-what am i supposed to do put it on my back? Pay the towing? They also didn't want to redeliver the car but have me come pick it up - like i have 2 sets of hands ect. After unpleasantness they dropped it off. When the next battaery went dead we took it to a de. Dealership-ford care towing - and they lost the vehicle. They later found it but man what a heart ache they gave me. The vehicle when getting looked at in de. -they told us there was nothing wrong, but that was cause the diagnostic equipment didn't work right. They blamed it on a bad batch of batteries - 1st time for everything, when we asked our good friends in NJ they said thats news to us, go figure. We went thru a lot more stuff to but this is getting too long. The ford care people while nice - basicly told us tough luck, we're sorry. I got a wife who doesn't trust the car, a daughter who's afraid of it and me with a 22,000.00$ plus lawn ornament. This thing with all the problems associated with it probably won't resale better than some old hippy's 1973 Yugo. I thought ford was an on the level company - didn't take TARP money-but they proved me wrong-NEVER TRUST these folks-sorry to say my opinion but... Now i'm not talking about the folks that put'em together, just the folks that sell'em and those that say they care. Agian-thanks for taking my money...
