When I rented the truck in FL, I was informed that it had been brought in from farther than normal and was not completely full. When the manager and I did the walk around, he did not check the fuel gauge (as he told Customer Service that he did). This is after I had to push back my rental date due to hidden charges that they did not tell me about until preparing to swipe my card.
During the trip, the fuel gauge would fluctuate wildly, never showing an accurate readout. When I returned the truck in LA, I filled it up completely until the pump shut itself off. I dropped the truck off as the dealer was closed for the weekend. They are now charging me a fuel fee due to it not being completely full. I called customer service, who says they spoke with both dealers and there is nothing they can do. I then called both dealers, and was treated like trash. This is especially true for the dealer in Gretna LA.
