1996 dodge caravan was leaking gas when filled over 3/4 full. The problen was a bad weld on top of the gas tank. Replacement part was dealer only and dealer replacement cost was close to $800. When ask to help cover some of the cost due to product defect and safety concere dodge said Sorry.
