We sold a 6.0L Ford Powerstroke Engine to Chuck and Chucks towing. When he received the first engine it was an error on our part and we supplied the incorrect year engine so we shipped out a replacement engine to his address with the agreement that the first engine would be released to the frieght company when the replacement was dropped off. He did not release the first engine. He claimed that the wiring harness was cut when it was removed from the truck. So we sent out a replacement wiring harness. He still would not release the engine. We then offered to have him return both engines for a full refund including shipping. We asked him to send the engines back COD so he was guarranteed to receive certified funds. He refused again and now claims that he wants $17,977.54 for him to release the two engines to us. As a reminder he only ever paid for one of the engine. Total invoice price was $5,497.54. So if that isn't being ripped off the punch line is that he has sent me notice that if I don't pay him $17,977.54 he is going to sell the engine that he didn't pay for. So Beware to all, and I have full supporting documentation of all the tracing numbers for both engines and wiring harness, the original invoice with signature and all offers in writing to resolve the problem and his written responses.
