Purchased replacement engine January. On March I am replacing the replacement engines for the 4th time because:
Engine 1: had a cracked engine block, Engine 2: burned oil out of piston 1, Engine 3: destroyed piston 1 and values, Engine 4: filled engine with water, Engine 5... God I'm so tired of doing this.
Even with the warranty providing replacement engines...
"The RIPOFF" is that there is no quality assurance, no liability for replacement of replacement downtime, and no liability for defective manufacturing.
I attempted to contact management at any level to push an honest appeal (after 3 replacement engines) to take extra care in selecting me an engine that is guaranteed to be without problems.
"The RIPOFF" is that there are no phone numbers, no fax numbers, no email addresses, no mailing addresses or any other means of communication except for the technical support web site
"The RIPOFF" is that the only management you will be "allowed" to speak with is the supervisor over the technical support phones.
In conclusion: "The RIPOFF" is that you are at the mercy ATK's "Hit-and-Miss" rebuilt engines and you better like it.
