New home owner wants to relocate mail box from front of home (side walk) to side of home (wall). Spoke to post office this morning (619 429 8414) and they informed me that it cannot be relocated onces it has been established. Almost the entire block has there mail boxes near there entry way. Moving mail box would also make it a little easier due to my walking problems. Please help me to understand why this is a problem with the post office. Thank You
