As most probably know, General Motors has dropped Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Saturn divisions of their product line.

My issue with GM is the fact Saturn ION models built up to 2007 have a parts availability akin to a Yugo. I don't know about Pontiac and Oldsmobile, but they probably have a better interchange with currently remaining car lines. Saturn has always been the red-headed step child of their line of vehicles. There are absolutely no Saturn dealers remaining, and parts exclusive to Saturn models have been discontinued totally. Not even available to other divisions to order. I have campaigned a 2006 Saturn ION quad coupe since new as a “toad” (flat towed vehicle) behind my motorhome.

GM even solicited motorhome owners to consider a Saturn with a four speed automatic transmission as it was one of the few cars that could be “flat towed”.
