On the 21st of October i was invited by a friend in the UK to visit. To cut a long story short i bought my tickets from Flight Center in Northcliff North of Jjohannesburg where the travel agents Azzaria and Adele informed me that i must buy the tickets and then i can apply for my visa, which i did. I was assisted by Linda from Welcome UK (agent) and with her advice i proceeded with the application, just to find towards the end that my visa was declined due to British High Commission Mistakes. They read my bank balance incorrectly, because of my surname which they took for Arabic and not South African Black person, they told me according to their Human Rights Laws i am not allowed to enter the UK and it seems that i am going for other reasons than just a holiday. I at the end had to cancel my tickets and i am not even getting the full ammount of what i paid for the tickets and to top it all i have to wait for 2 months to get a refund. I would like to know what can the South African Goverment do for S A citizens to be treated with respect which we deserve. You will find with all these companies that i have been dealing with all their employees are foreighn and the majority are from the UK, where as we are being treated like thrash just to go on hoiliday i don't want to know what they will say if one is offered a job in their country.
