Transmission Died 4 months after purchase!

I purchased a 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor August 20 from Concordville Nissan and Subaru. When I purchased this truck it had 62,000 miles on it. Approx 4 months later, a few weeks after the warranty expired, the transmission died. I immediately called the dealer and they said they were going to help me. After not hearing from them I called them back to see what was going on and they told me I could trade it in for an additional $3,500. They would put me in another used car, but it was nothing else they could do. When I told them I couldn't do that, the sales guy replied saying well it is tax season, bring me your income tax and I'll put you in another car. I was offended and I felt like I was being taken for granted. The did not care that I was stranded with no car. I took the truck to 3 different Transmission mechanics including Mitsubishi and they all said the transmission was slipping for a while before it got to this stage. I was given two quotes of $2,800 - $3,000 to repair and it would cost me $7,000 if I let Mitsubishi rebuild it. I wrote Concordville a letter and sent it certified asking them to please help me even if it meant splitting the cost of a new transmission and they never responded. I left several messages and nothing. I later learned that I was the third owner of this truckwhen I was told at purchase thatI was the second. The sales guy told me that the car was in almost perfect shape. I'm a single mom of three children and I desperately need my car to get back and forth to work. I trusted these guys and they sold me a truck that I can not drive. Now I'm stuck with a $10,000 balance on this truck. Not happy at all.
