Through Prestonburg's auto sales I purchased a car that was originally $9,000, and had a trade in. I've paid for the car for nearly 5 years at $250. They repossesed the car a few months ago, and are claiming a Balance due of: $12,0

I purchased a car in 2005 for around $9,000, with monthly payments AT $250. I was told that I still owed over $6,000 with only a few months left before payoff - so I told them to repossess the car. I'm now receiving a total amount due statement of $12,028.22 on a car that was originally priced at a little over $9,000 5 years ago, and am willing to take this as far as I can go with it to keep people like this from leeching every dime they can from people just trying to have access to a way to work.
