Unfortunatley I just found this site or I would have spoken up sooner. I had my engine rebuilt along with thousands of dollars worth of other repairs about a year ago.
Right out the shop there were problems with the car. It was supposed to be virtually rebuilt from the ground up. Things Lee and employees were to fix needed to be repaired for a second time and items or parts that were supposed to be new were found to be used when repaired again.
He bought parts at discount prices while he charged me as if it were new along with some parts being defective after he supposedly fixed it. It took about a month for them to even start the job on my car (my car was collecting dust in there shop).
Finally when the car was returned to me it was completed to my unsatisfactory and after nagging and waiting a ridiculous amount of time to get my car replaced I also spent thousands of dollars more that was waisted for additional repairs that he never told me about or to repair what he was supposed to fix in the first place.
So never go to Lee's Auto Repair on Sherman Way in North Hollywood.
