December I Went Harold Langley bc I had less than perfect credit. He seemed dwn to earth and willing to work with me in regards to a down payment. Well the first issue came up with the trucks transmission, a week to the day tranny went out... They had a tow truck come and get it. And replaced the transmission. I was impressed, til they gave me a Invoice!
Then Harold accussed me of drag racing the the truck as to the reason for the tranny going out. Then he said that the evidence was that a back tire was bald. I did notice the tire was bald the day after a bought the truck due to the poorly lit lot at the dealership. Being accussed rubbed me the wrong way though. But I brush it off and go to get new tires for the rear wheels, and the guy from the tire place called me to the garage and showed me where the tread was coming off of the the front tires. So I had to get all 4 tires replaced and pay money each month for the tranny.
About a week after all of that I'm sitting at the light and the truck just shuts off. It started right back up so I thought little of it. Well within a couple of days later the truck was cutting off and not starting and overheating. This time I tke it to my mechanic. He took the engine apart and found mud in the engine, the heads were cracked, there was evidence someone had tried to repair the motor unssuccessfully and just put it back together.
The next week the truck stopped working completely. It would turn on for 5 seconds then shut off. We changed fuel lines and manifolds and gaskets and all kinds of components. Finally got it running, only for it to mess up again and find that the bearings were rotting and leaving metal shavings in the oil. So I said forget it, and left the truck at the mechanic and threw my hands up... Well just two days ago the mechanic notified me that Harold Langley still had not picked up the truck from his shop!
Harold Langley sells crap he doesn't even care about. He says that he will handle any mechanical issues bc he knows there will be issues and he will invoice his customer for them. They were constantly saying I owed more than I did... I would mke a pymt to his wife and two days later get a call from Harold saying I never made a pymt. Save yourself the headache and drama and shop elsewhere
