I just saw a report about this man scamming someone over a replica vehicle they purchased. I also purchased a vehicle from this man and his son Shawn. It was a Jaguar that was to be rebuilt and converted with a 350 Chevy high performance engine. He stoled $8900 from me!!! He seems to be a very intelligent, soft spoken and kind man but he is nothing but a lying, stealing scam artist. I talked to him about exactly what he was going to do to the car and how it would turn out. Like this other man that was scammed, he started to have excuse after excuse as to why it was not getting done etc. He faked a near death heart attack of all things!!! He is a great scammer. I tried everything to go after him; police report, states attorney in both my state and Arizona. No one would help. I sued him and won but of course he did not show and will never get anything out of him anyway. His son is a loser in and out of jail and Dan covers his son's criminal activities. They work together and also at times use other family members names. I did a ton of research on him after the fact. BE AWARE!!! He is good at what he does. I hope some agency will go after him and put them both away for a long time.
