The Car Connection
Ripoff dishonest car sales

I went into this Car lot with 2000.00 cash with my grandma and my 2 year old son. I was approached by a salesman (owns the lot with his brother) who tried real hard to sell me this car. It was a 1989 Ford Probe.in all the excitement I baught the car and traded in my 1976 AMC Spirit that my dad had given me (trade-in value 200.00) I left with my new car and took my grandma home who lived about 3 miles away.

Right before I got to her house the car started overheating. We were upset so we turned back around and asked for our money back. The saleman said sorry hon, signed sealed and delivered. We can try and fix it for you.

So it was in the shop for 2 days just to make it past the 3 day buyers remourse limit. I went to go pick it up and took it for a test drive up highway 99 and back down (drove for about 3 miles) this time the hose blew off the motor that fed it water to keep it cool and blew my engine up. I sat there stranded with my son and had to have help getting me off the road.

So I parked it in another car lot (asked them if I could of course)- really upset this time I called them back and told them what happened - they then offered to fix the alternator. (what does this have to do with a blown head-gasket)! They did not even come get me. I had to call my dad. So I left a nice note on the window that read... Just bought this car from Car Connection - blown motor Compliments of Car Disconnection! Never buy a car from them!

Anyhow when they came to pick up the car they still would not give me my money back and never fixed the car. However, they were quite upset about my note - being that it was parked at another car lot for perfect buyer viewing and told me they would not give me my money back and that they would make sure I would never be able to buy another car again.

My dad was so upset about the fact we could not get the money back - that he went and baught my old car back from them so that I had something to drive.

I traded the Probe in at another lot for 400.00. And payments of 200 amonth for 6 months on a Pontiac Bonneville. These people at car connection are dishonest, heartless salesman who are only out to make a buck even if it means at other peoples expense. I had gone in there crying my eyes out explaining that I got a job and I need reliable transportation. They did not care. Heartless and Dishonest Liars!
