I bought an Energizer Car battery dated 11/07 that in October developed a dead cell. Could not find receipt or remember where where I bought it. It has 3 year FREE replacement printed on it. (It also states to keep receipt for warranty.) When I contacted Eveready Energizer with the product number (E78-S) they could find no such product. I now am referred to Johnson Controls, who make, or have someone else make the battery. I needed a battery so went ahead and purchased one from Wal-Mart who will replace it WITHOUT receipt and has THEIR own name on it. Still awaiting reply from Eveready, who acknowleged receipt of my inquiry. So I was RIPPED OFF, paid for a "name brand" battery that lasted 23 months. (It still holds a 10.4v charge)
