Chenowith Ford Service dept. Lied and said the reason they would not honor 3yr. 36,000 mi. Warranty was because car was driven with emergency brake on

Service manager told my 75 year old father that he would have to pay almost $600.00 repair bill caused by defective wheel cylinders because these parts were not covered under warranty. I called Ford customer assistance and was told these parts are covered under the factory warranty.

After the customer assistance man called Chenoweth service dept. While leaving me on hold for almost half an hour while they discussed this, the customer assistance man came back on thanking me for holding and said that the reason the claim was denied was because the car had been driven with the emergency brake on.

If this was true why was this not told to my father and written on the estimate which by the way was billed at $60.00 plus tax. Said they could not override the dealers decision. Ford warranty is worthless!!!
