Stay away!

My friend and I visited their dealership in San Bernardino after receiving a flyer that stated rock bottom payments and prices on their new cars. When we arrive at the dealership, we were informed that only those special prices were for base model cars that basically had no air conditioning and with manual transmissions. To qualify for the deal, a person had to meet too many requirements and had to give a huge down payment. The flyer was too confusing to read and understand and I was informed of the of all of the requirements by the salesman. We were then lead to another car that was more equipped with options than their base models. We were told that they would give up a spectacular deal on this car. We were there a total of about 5 hours negotiating the best prices on the car that we were interested in purchasing. The dealership played the typical write the terms on paper game and get the managers approval. The salesman must have gone back and forth between the manager and us a total of about 20 times. He kept writing all the new terms of the loan on the same paper which later became very confusing to read and understand. There was hardly and room left on the paper to write anything and he kept on filling up the paper with new terms to confuse us.
The deal did not seems right since the begining. He told us that he would give us the car for under invoice price which was about $16,800.00. He also said that he would give us $2000 cash back and that he would require us to put up $2000 down payment and plus our trade in offer of $1000. So the total of our downpayment plus cash back and trade was a total of $5000. That would leave us with the final cost of the car at $11,800.00. He then gave us these terms of 7.9% interest, monthly payment of $256 for 72 months and that seemed pretty high for us to approve. They would not lower the payment any more and so we walked out of the dealership and told them that we would call them tomorrow.
The next day, I found a simple interest auto loan calculator online and I punched in the figures that we were quoted. According to the online auto loan calculator, we should have been quoted a montly payment of no more that $225 for 72 months and not $256 for 72 months. This dealer was ripping us off and they made the details of the loan very unclear and confusing. We were there for several hours and they tried to mentally break us down with the games that they play by going back and forth to the manager, making us wait in a room for extended periods of time while they were busy negotiating other deals with the manager, writing on a single piece of paper to add to the confusion as if that was the last piece of paper available at the dealership.
We took our business to aEmpire Nissan dealer in Ontario and got a great deal with an equivalent car with payments at $215/month at 72 payments. The Nissan dealer did not play any games with us, and they showed us all the details of the deal in a clear and understanding manner. This dealer did not try to mentally wear us down in the manner that All Star Kia did in San Bernardino. Beware of All Star Kia dealership to anyone who wishes to purchase a car from them. Check them out with the better business bureau and they have 9 derogative complaints.
