After purchasing a 1998 Toyota 4-runner with a trade in, the dealer called me back and told me that I had to resign the paperwork because Toyota Financial was taking on the loan. The rate incresed to 13.75% and payment increased from $450.00 to $540.00.
Oh, they threw in all sorts of warranties to say the car was covered from head to toe for 100k miles, but that added over $4k to the loan.
