I delivered out a bundle via Following Day Oxygen on 2/11 also it was not shipped until over per week later. After I recognized on 2/12 that it had beennot likely to be shipped that evening, I named to determine an alternate. I agreed to choose it-up in the service and hand-deliver it for them, but was informed it had been a safety threat. The receiver agreed to get select it-up and he or she was informed that she could not till they created the very first attempted shipping, plus they did not understand when that might be. Every time I asked concerning the standing of the bundle, of course if/when it'd be shipped, I had been given reasons concerning the climate. I had been actually informed they weren’t building deliveries for the reason that region because of undesirable problems – and that I understood it wasn’t accurate since the receiver obtained a bundle delivered via Floor on that Mon! I submitted a problem using the BBB and UPS’ reaction was an extremely universal canned reply concerning the climate which there is undesirable climate conditions throughout the week of 2/13. This wasn’t accurate! The blizzard we'd occurred in regards to a week just before me shipping out the package along with a UPS representative (in a Washington Post post) stated that providers were just turn off on 2/10, and they were back-up and operating about the 11th – your day I delivered out the bundle. Our rebuttal was about how dissatisfied I had been within their reaction, and noticed that the undesirable problems they described occurred per week preceding (therefore no justification), which when they couldn’t provide when guaranteed, they shouldn’t take these kinds of deals (combined with the significant funds to deliver them!). I'd have already been pleased with a genuine apology, as well as when the bundle was shipped a couple of days late, I'd have actually approved that!
