On 9/11/03 is sent my 19 year old daughter to our nearby purrfect auto for an oil change, next thing she knows, they are calling her about her brakes, telling her that they were in really bad shape, and she needed a brake job, they told her it was going to cost her 277.00 parts and labor
She told them she did not have the money for it, to talk to her mom because she was the one paying for it, then I received a call from the mechanic doing the job and told me he could give a good deal on the brake job, it would cost me just 189.99 parts and labor, I agreeed to it.
They told me it would be an hour. After an hour they called again. The manager, Rico, told me there was a problem with the caliper, it was fused and they could not get it back in, it would cost another 90.00 for the part, but he could give me the part at his cost and it would only be 80.00. I told him I did not have the extra money they wanted, could they just put the part back in and fix the breaks?
Rico told me there was no way it could be done, either I buy the part or He did not know what to do with the car, I found out the part only costs 36.00, but I ended paying for the original price quoted to my daughter or she would have had no car.
