I have two things to tell everyone about. First Midas did a brake job and did not do a complete job as requested. They did not rebuild the calipers and replace the wheel cylinders. The calipers were sticking and ruined the roters that cost 200 dollars to replace for a total redo of over 800 dollars. This all happened in less than 20,000 miles. I went to Just Brakes and they did the job right that should have been done the first time. If you have a Just Brakes near you, take it there first. Had the job been done right the first time at Midas it would of only cost a little over 400 for a complete brake job. The rotors and berrings were almost 400 that included the labor.
The next thing that Midas did was pur new shocks on the Suburban. They wore out in about 16 months. They offerred to replace them with the same ones but the labor was going to be over 150 dollars. The factory shocks lasted almost 70,000 miles. These only lasted 21,000 miles. Midas has to be the biggest scam artists out there. They do half assed jobs, put on cheap parts and when you try to get the warranty work done they always find a way to screw you our of more money.
I have sent a complaint to the corporate office and have given them three days to resolve this with a full refund for the shocks and labor. I am going to have to spend this money again to get the right shocks on my Suburban. If they don't I am going to register midas-sucks.com or midas-usacomplaints.com or something similar and post all complaints on the site.
