June 20 my car a 91 eagle talon stalled in the freeway, so I got it towed to phillips 66. We found out that the timing belt had been broken and the only way to is rebuilt the engine.
I told him that I want to replaced another engine because their was a problem with the engine, so he estimated the cost a round $1200, I give him go ahead and swaped the engine.
Eddie who is the owner of shop called me the next day, that he have to charge me extra because the car have an allwheel more work for his mechanic. So we work it out the price for $1400 and he also suggested me to replaced new parts when his mechanic remove the engine. I give him ok, he replaced some seal and new clutches. After the job was completed I pay him round $2100 that was including parts.
The engine startup fine, then after I driven for a couple days I noticed that noise coming from the engine. I brought back to the shop and the mechanic check it out and found the noise come out from the tranny. He told me, just drive the car for couple more days and the will go away becuase the clutch is new.
One week go by that noise from tranny was still there but the clutches was acting up that week. Then, the clutches stalled and I was unable to drive the car. So I got the car tow back to the shop. I came to see Eddie at the shop and he told me that I have to pay the labor to put out the tranny.
I was so upset, so I have it tow to another mechanic and when they put tranny out, they found out that pressureplate bolts was loosed, it damage the dis and pressureplate.
