On September 26 two door-to-door salesmen approched my residence. They were pitching a fuel rebate program and a savings at restaurants. They were eager to tell me that my neighbors purchased both the fuel & food rebate packages. I opted only the the fuel program. That decision cost me $30, which I charged by credit card. The person's name in the "sold by" field on myreceipt (who knows if it's legit?) is E. Williams.
Shortly thereafter, I read the fine print in the brochure, registered my fuel certificate online as instructed, then mailed a check for $9.95 before the end of September. I didn't accumulated $100 worth of gas receipts until December. At that time, I re-read the rebate brochure & mailed my receipts to the Joliet, IL address before the end of December. I was to have receive my $9.95 back in addition to a $25 Visa gift card.
