Dishonest about warranty repai

My husband bought a 2007 Toyota Matrix, which I drive. He drives my 2004 Camry. Leaving work a week ago I noticed a large amount of water on my passenger front floor. Went straight to Arlington Toyota, the water was unbelievable. While I explain my very visable problem to Josh in the service department, he decided to concentrate on my windshield. He asks if I ever replaced my windshield because all toyota vehicles have the toyota name on the windshield. I tell him I've never changed my windshield and if it's not an original windshield it must've been broke while in transit to the dealership and they repaired it b4 I bought it. I bought it new. As I am dealing with all this water in my car, removing carpet mats, etc he's on the phone trying to find out about my windshield. He even brings another guy to look at my windshield which tells him the car could've been made in Canada. Anyway, Josh tells me that the water can be coming from the windshield (looks like he's trying to blame me) and It appears I changed the windshield.

I continue to tell him I never changed the windshield and that he is annoying me with the windshield instead of concentrating on my water issue. While he goes inside, I look under the dash board in the front to see if I can see where the water is coming from. Another service guy places his hand and tells me the A/C hose was off. Don't ask me how that happened. I travel alone most times. Anyway, they keep my car for a week and tell me they are going to replace my carpet. The reason for keeping my car for over a week they say is because the carpet is back ordered. I pick up my car today and the receipt says they replaced my carpet new. When I get home my son and I check the car further and we find splashes of dried water probably mixed with some solution in the back of the front seats. The car smells like shampoo. We are convinced the carpet was shampooed pretty well if I might say, but it was not replaced. New carpet smells new and this does not smell new, plus we found the splashes of shampoo in the sides of the car walls as well.

No way was the carpet replaced, and they go as far as to write that on their receipt. Talking about dishonest, this is the worst kind. Anyway, we really inspected the carpets and we are 100% sure they are not new.

My husband and I have bought over four vehicles from this dealership and we have never had to use the warranty until now and they lie to us. I guess we won't be buying from them anymore, and will go elsewhere for service and oil changes.

You do not have to get service from the dealership you purchased your car. Toyota has to honor your warranty at any Toyota dealership.

Be ware of Arlington Toyota they are not honest.By the way they did give me a loaner after I was without a car for a few days. Had a hard time getting to work and they finally gave me a loaner when they claimed they needed to get the Ok from Toyota corp to change my carpet and fix the a/c hose by putting a clamp on the hose, so they say. Also, they advised my windshield is from factory. All Matix have the some one.

Another company with Customer No Service.
