Chacon they screwed my family out of $3000 and a car

We were lied too and I do not know what to do. Robert, the business manager, Christi in the business office both explained to me that they do not report to the credit bureau. OK, so here is were the stories begins; I need help because I am furious. My family and I purchased a car from Chacon Autos because they were basically the only company we could go to with the type of credit we had. Well any way we used the air check Texas program, they told us that they had a new Ford Taurus went through their vehicle inspection and that everything is working just fine. I drove the car for 6 months before the entire tailpipe fell off from under my car. We had it towed to a Ford dealer and they had it sent to Ford. Ford fixed this at no cost to us so we figured everything would be fine. Well that was the beginning of our worries. 6 months later my air compressor broke and I was 1 month behind on my car payment when the air compressor broke, oh not to mention this is a 2007 Ford Taurus, supposedly 1 owner.
So far my tailpipe totally fell from underneath my car (disconnected from the Cadillac converter) Ford had to replace the whole Cadillac converter and tailpipe. I was in the hospital the 1st week in April and I needed to go to the doctor for a follow up when my car died on me in the middle of the freeway with my (then) 2yr old daughter in the car. I was able to get it off the freeway on to the service road, God blessing there was a mechanic shop. This mechanic cheated me out of $300.00 and stole the keys to my car. I notified Chacon that I had not been in the car the whole month due to this issue and I paid for repairs that were never taken care of. Chacon went and picked up the car and they told me that they could fix it for $1500.00 the $300.00 I was behind on the car note.
So basically I needed to come up with $1800.00 in a matter of 3 days. I expressed to them that I would not be able to come up with none of this money and that I wanted to return the car. Even after I expressed to them how many problems I had they did not care. After I showed them the receipt of how much I paid out to have a mechanic fix it, they would not budge on anything. So I explained to them that they could keep the car, fix it and resale it. I had put too much money in to trying to get the car repaired not to mention the rental cars that I had to purchase while my car was in the shop. So at the time I was relinquishing the car, I asked the young lady again, so you do not report to the credit bureau and she said no. 6 months later my husband and I are trying to clean up our credit and we see Chacon repossession.
So I called Chacon and I spoke with Robert, the manager in the business office and I quoted his words back to him. I specifically asked, Do you report to the credit bureau? And he answered no. Then when I explained to him that I just pulled my credit and there is a repossession posted on my credit, he then disclosed, We only report to the credit bureau if there is an involuntary or voluntary repo. I told him this was false advertisement, when I asked him in the beginning they told me no, now they report if there is a repo. I was not told this information when I asked and I went through my whole car contract and all the paper work that I was given and there was nothing in there that I signed and initialed stating that if there is a repossession it will be reported on credit. He stated that there is no paper work that indicates that Chacon will report a repo and the only way that a consumer would know that Chacon reported is by pulling the credit. I then asked are we not supposed to be notified, he then stated, Chacon has not obligation to call a former customer to inform them that there is now a repo posted on their credit. I asked him if this was illegal or who could I report this to, and he said they were well in their rights. So I pulled up the Fair Credit Reporting Act and after reading at least 10 pages I still came up empty. If any one knows who I can call please HELP!!!
