False information, mislead and double charged. Told too bad

July 24/09 I was in an accident and wrote my car off. Two weeks later I received a cheque from the insurance company and set out to find a car asap. I was honest with Auto Expert like I was with everyone else I was speaking with looking through the dealers. I told everyone including Auto Expert, I only had $ to deal with. I strongly discussed DO NOT put me into a car that within a year, to your knowledge, is going to need repairs. I spoke to both owners of Auto Expert, was guaranteed that a 97 Sunfire was a good choice and in my range. They both knew I had also a week before lost my job and it was really important for me not to buy a car that was in need of immediate repair. The sunfire was advertised with anti lock brakes and air conditioning and this was the beginning of my trouble. Within 1 hour of me taking possession I noticed the anti lock light still on, which I was told it would be fixed and I also had NO airconditioning. I went right back and to my surprise received bad attitudes from both owners. They said at the price I got the car they were not going to fix anything and it passed the certification. For the record, they (Auto Expert) certifies their own cars!!! I left and went to my son in laws to ask him. My son in law also found the muffler just patched with a can and ready to fall apart and also the motor was leaking oil all over and it too had an issue with the intake valve and ready to go soon. I went back and asked if they would please take this bomb off me. They did offer and did give me some money back. Within 12 hours I lost $140.00 because they said they had to pay to have it certified??? They paid themselfs TWICE with my money!!! I just feel like some of these dealerships take advantage of people that are not that educated in the mechanics of cars. They lied and did not care about me as a customer, just the money. I asked for my $140.00 and lets just say they were not nice, and I did not get my money back.
