These individuals Jerry and Jason, father and son are a couple of thieves that cheat on their customers by making false offerings such as the $300.00 transmission evaluation.
According to these so called transmission specialists they advertise that your car will be returned in the same condition as it was before the evaluation if you decide not to do business with them.
Before the so called transmission evaluation, Jason (son) took the car for a drive test and called from a cellular phone his father (Jerry) at the office to indicate that there was a serious problem with the transmission. Additionally, they indicated that the repair cost could be around $1,800.00 and that the $300.00 will be applicable to the repair if a decision to do the work with them was favorable.
The REALITY is that the car was not drivable after the so called transmission evaluation and of course this contradicts their statement about returning the car in the same condition before the evaluation.
Of course, it was not enough with stealing the $300.00 and damaging even more the vehicle. Additionally, Jerry (the father) insults me and my fiance and requested the $300.00 to be paid in cash in order to return the vehicle. According to this character, we were crooked people.
This note really denounces the crooked people in this transaction, and they are these two characters: Jerry and Jason that pretend to be transmission specialists. I believe their specialty is on: Cheating, lying and insulting customers and why not misrepresenting a name like AAMCO.
This was my first and last experience with AAMCO Transmissions.
These people must be stopped. Do not make the msitake of taking your car to this place!!
