Well I just hung up with a rep for this company. I only hung up because I had no other option. The first guy said since my car was over 140,000 miles he would have to get an exception from the manager. (Another person on usacomplaints.com said they were told an exception was needed for their car because it was over 100K, which is it, 100 or 140K&fishy)
I was put on hold, for no reason obviously... Said that I could get a policy only under one condition, that I accept or decline the policy at the end of the call. The end of the call only took place after 45 minutes.
He was trying his best to get me to give money up front (295 down payment), and 113 for the first 18 months. The first guy told me it would be 469 per year, the second guy told me 113 per month for 18 months, then not pay after that for the remaining time until the 5 year period was up. So which one is it?
Money upfront is always a red flag. The guy did really try though, I give him that =). I cannot say if it is a scam for sure, but it seemed that way.

*Lose deal if I hang up
*Inconsistent information (pricing)
*Managers approval (mute button tactic?)
*Relentless pursuit of credit card info
Feeling in the gut says stay clear of this company.
