I was fortunate enough to endure overly due discrimination, dubious and cunning ways exhibited by Parkway Toyota. I drove from Boston to purchase a car for a set price which had been agreed with a deposit of good faith. I now proceeded to arrive at the dealership the next morning (9 hours after) and was informed that the prices had gone up from the agreed advertised price of 17k to 20k.
The dealership did not keep their word and now told me that they would call me back to see if I needed to pay taxes in Jersey or Mass. I didn't know this was a ploy to restrict me from buying the car. I understand that an American establishment is not allowed to select who they sell products to as long as the buyer is willing and able to pay.
I then called back and no one picked their phone. I called several time and it seemed the line was cutting off. So I proceeded to block my number and voila! Someone answered. I was shocked!
This is obviously not how anyone should be treated, I tried to reason with the seemingly biased General Manager, but he said "Please I have better things to do" and rudely told me to get out of his office. For the record his name is Philip Ferreira and the Sales agent who couldn't speak up at risk of getting fired is Jase Kim. This should not ever happen to anyone else. If ever you want to by a car. And Parkway Shows up, I suggest you run in the other direction.!
