I went to the dealership to help my daughter buy a car in which I was willing to co-sign on the loan. I made it very clear the maximun she could pay and the maximum payment she could make and that the loan would be in her name.
The sales rep spent about an hour helping us look at our options. When we finally decided on a particular vehicle the negotiations began.
In the end they did not disclose that the loan was on a six year term and should have been a five year. They put the loan in my name and not hers when I was not the one buying the car.
They gave us an out the door price including tax and licence but in reality that was not the truth. They later told us the out the door price was the monthly payment not the car price.
It ended up that they were charging us over three thousand more than the car was worth.
The entire experience was full of lies, deception and cover up. They are dishonest and in the end we walked away from the deal. The sales manager then accused us of wasting their time. Since when does helping a customer in any purchase transaction equate to a waste of time to the employee who is being paid for doing their job? It was our time that was wasted as we spent more than six hours their and ended up with nothing when had they have been honest and up front we would have purchased the vehicle.
This was a terrible experience and I will never shop at any of the Larry Miller dealerships as they have no integrity and this flows from the top down.
