I called up torklift central wending to get the cost of a fifth wheel hitch installed in my pick Up. They actually came highly recommended by a neighbor. Well, I was told a price on the telephone of almost 2000$!!! He fella said it was the best and "only way I could go" I have a long box, I was confused. He said had to order in the parts. He put me on hold at least 4 times and was talking so fast and acted like I was bothering him. He kept on pushig me to get more things and I became uncomfertable.
I went in to look at the hitch ans saw that there were several more to choose from much lower in price. Why didn't he tell me about those or about the three less spendy brake controllers. This kid was some punk kid that spoke to me with no respect. I ended up talking to a man who worked there that smelled like stale beer and some other unplesant oder. He said he grew up in that shop and talked to me more about my truck and some options but continued to interupt me and gave the impression he was in a hurry and didn't care.
The kid continued to almost force me into purchesing the most expensive hitch, I felt so uncomfortable and pushed I declined doing any work on my pickup there. People smelled like they had been drinking all day, forcing me into spending unneeded money. I felt lied to and uncomfertable with the whole situation, so I left and went somewhere else. Don't tell me the most expensive one is the only option. I felt ripped off and didn't spend a dime. If you plan on working with people. Please don't smell of a 40 ounce of beer and body oder. This was a low budget overpriced shop. I wouldn't go there.
