Do not buy anything from these people

Where do I start? I should have found this website first...
I advise you to read others reports as well because we all have had similar experiences.

When I first started looking for a company to buy a large go kart from, ATV Discounter A.K. A "Frontier Imports" was the cheapest by about $350 bucks, and that included the shipping. I also read the "Testimonials" on their site and felt good about them. I was pretty thorough with my investigation into their policies on the page, and noticed a discrepancy about returns and refunds. I called and spoke to someone and they told me "Oh the website has not been updated, you can get a refund." I was like, "Well, you telling me that over the phone is one thing, however you could totally screw me if you wanted to..." and hes like "Yeah I see what you saying."

Anyhow, I went ahead and placed the order, and they use Google checkout which gives you a 15 minute window to cancel if you choose too... I should have.

At first I was actually impressed with the way things went as I received and E-mail from them immediately and a phone call From Doug (Salesman) immediately as well. I had begun to think the testimonials were in fact true and that maybe their customer service WAS that good. I made the initial purchase March 27th, a Friday. I was totally fine with waiting 10-14 Business days to save $350 dollars. If only things would have actually worked out that way.

I patiently waited until the 10th business day and called just to make sure that my order would be going out soon. Doug Informed me that although I had made my purchase on a Friday, my order was not actually "SENT to the warehouse" until the following Monday, so the initial purchase day does not count as a business day. He also informed me that "Good Friday was a shipping holiday and does not count as a business day." If its not even ready to ship, why the hell would a shipping holiday slow down the progress?!?! I was upset yet understanding and he assured me it should be sent out the following week. I patiently waited until the next Friday and called them that morning to make sure things would be going out. The same story again, there was some other reason why this day or that day was not a business day and that it had only been 11 business days.

From that point on I was extremely impatient and called every couple of days. Doug said the same thing every time: "This new crating process is really slowing us down, but your unit should be shipping any time now". Well, he said that same story for nearly a MONTH! Then one day I received a call from him and he said he got an email from the shipping department that said "It's Done." I asked him what that meant and he said "Well its not going to mean anything to you." And I'm like "Yeah, but what does it mean to YOU?!?!" and he said "To me that means its done and its going to be shipped, it will probably go out tomorrow."

He kept telling me different stories every time I called throughout this whole process. He kept switching back and forth between "It should only take a day to get to you since your in Florida" to "Its gonna take about 3-4 Days to ship to you." On April 23rd he sent me an email saying

"Hi Danny,
I am sorry, I do not have a shipping update this evening. I am confident it will not be much longer. I will email you updates as available. Thanks, Doug"

Then on MAY 4th, I received this email from Doug "Hi Danny,
Your order was loaded on a trailer today for pickup by the freight company but tracking has not been posted yet. I will email it to you as soon as it is. Thanks, Doug"

I was relieved that my order would soon arrive, so I patiently waited ANOTHER WEEK then called Doug and asked what the hold up was. He told me "I only know what they tell me." and I said "If the president of the United States called your company and needed to know where a CERTAIN unit was because it had a bomb on it, I guarantee you would know exactly where it is and how far along it is in the process, it does not make sense that you can run a business without knowing WHERE YOUR PRODUCT IS?!!"

FINALLY on the 18th of MAY I got an email from the parts department saying my order had been shipped. It did only take a day for it to get over here and I received it from the shipper on the 20th... It took 76 days (53 business days!) to get what I ordered... As others have said: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ORDER FROM THIS PIECE OF SHIT COMPANY, PAY THE HIGHER PRICE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

If my ATV/KART would have come in the promised time frame, it would have been a great value for the price, however, the hell I went through with these assholes makes it a complete waste of time and energy. You have been warned.
