Poor body shop repair Califorina

Well when I had my new 86 Camero towed to this dealer after a wreck little did I know how bad the service would be. I lived just 5 minutes away from this dealer at 1701 Keelson Lane Huntington Beach.

I should have gone to Fountin Valley body shop but this is my story.

The Delillo body shop manager Rick Pointer would never gave me an estimated time to fix my still under warrenty car.

All it needed was a front clip and a repaint it should have taken 2 weeks tops.

I waited for over 4 weeks and the fool pointer never would give me a finish date I asked at least once a week for a date he never gave me one. My car sat in the body shop storeage yard for the first 2 week I checked every day by looking through the fence... It never moved for the first 2 weeks.

The Jerk Pointer never offered me a rental car at a discount even though I was the guy who bought the Camero new for $14,000.

Well after I took delivery of the car out of the body shop I showed the fool the defective paint with lots of drips and over spray. And the poor workmanship in general... Like anyone could see the hammer work done on the doghouse... And the best part... Losts of body parts still had the "made in Mexico stickers"

I asked the manager if they checked out the front struts for damkge and to make sure the computer control for the engine was OK. He said they had.

The next day after I took it home the air conditioner stopped working because the morons used extra long sheet metal screws that punched a hole in the condesor and all the compressor oil leaked out the compressor was ruined. This would have cost $800 to fix.

The jerks at Delillo told me they we not liable for this? They said how did they know it was working before they worked on the car... Gee compressor oil blown over the engine might have been a hint they screwed me.

Soooo about 2 months later the struts started to leak even though they had have less than 38,000 miles on them.

Ater 6 months later the engine intake vavles coked up solid because the fuel air mixtrure was full rich it plugged up the intake valves. The machine shop I showed the vales to said they never saw such build up on a "new engine with 40,000 miles on it.

To make a long short I pulled the engine rebuilt it in a weekend.

I would never buy any GM product again.

Thisi dealer is a total jerk I just hope it is one that GM is cutting as they have very poor service.

The Mustang I bought runs great but the Camero was pure junk from the start.
