I was recently looking for a used vehicle and started searching the internet and found one at Hasings Chrysler. I called them and told them the day and time I would be there. When I arrived the vehicle was nowhere to be found. Shortly after that the vehicle was pulled to the front door. Ilooked the vehicle over from top to bottom even crawling underneath and was amazed at how clean the undercarriage and the motor were. I test drove the vehicle and was shown the dealers inspection report and what they had repaired.
I ended up buying the vehicle and drove it the 100 miles home and parked it in the garage. ZThe next day I backed out of the garage and noticed a puddle on the floor, it turned out to be oil and transmission fluid. I called the dealer and talked with someone and was told that there was nothing they could do because it was "as is no warranty". I then took it to a local mechanic and was told that there was grease packed into some seals and along the oil pan gasket.
He said that is a way to temporarily stop leaks. I once again was in contact with the dealership. I was asked if I had talked to the manager and at that point I told them to have the manager call me. They have not called or made any attempt to resolve this issue. Now I will be stuck with a costly repair bill for a vehicle i've had for a week that had supposedly been inspected and repaired by there mechanics.
