Well, some friends of mine and i have had it with firestone of duluth. After several misdiagnostics, and seeing first hand how they treat customer cars i have decided the public needs to know.
There are a few testimonials:
"i went there for one, just one tire, to be replaced under warranty. It took about 3 hours to do, and when it was finally done the guy screamed up to the door and slammed on the brakes. I was like um wtf but let it go. Then upon closer inspection of my newly painted rims (this was a few days after i painted them graphite to sell the car) i saw they were all scratched to hell. I said something and the guy was like "oh well sorry it was probably the mounting machine. Theres nothing we can do about it." so i had to paint the damn rim again. So i take the rim off the car to give it a quick touch up and im looking at the tire and guess what. The tire, which i speciffically told the dumbass behind the counter was a 2 35/45 or whatever size, was THE WRONG SIZE. I immediately called them and they were like oh sorry bring it in we will get it switched out for you. After another 2 hours and more scratched rim paint, i was finally finished with those yahoos. Never again."
"A guy i know goes there because he gets a military discount. He brought his 94 dodge ram pick up there cause it was overheating. I told him his radiator was plugged, he didn't believe it. Brought it there anyway they told him it was his head gasket, not the problem. They proceeded to tell tell him that his heads had hairline cracks in it. Two new heads, not the problem. Finally he brings it to duluth dodge and ask them, 15 minutes plugged radiator. So he spend 3000 buck to find out his radiator was plugged. Didnt get a nickel back from the bastards. Then two times before that they didnt tighten the lug nuts on his new tires either. Twice and he still goes there for his military discount."
"i used to let firestone do my allignments, my buddy used to work there at the time & would tell me all the shit they talked, about my car... Anyways, after an allignment i came home to find a vise grip still attached to my car lol was fun bringing it back to the guy who worked on my car... My final allignment after hearing my buddy talk about them beating on any performance cars that came in, i specifically told them i didnt want them to test drive it. They called me when i was out in my truck an said it was almost done. I then thought i would like to see first hand what they do to my car... So i parked in the back an waited, Sure as shit they backed it out, & tore ass around the building! Never been back since..."
