Edward Chevrolet does not stand behind their cars... Or maybe it's the person with the complaint.
I (a single woman) bought a new Malibu from Edward Chevrolet in B'ham al in 2005. As of today 3/12, I have not had a good experience at the service center. I have tried to have my car serviced there on four occations with no results.
The last straw was 3/13. I went in Again to have my rims looked at because they are rusted completly around the hubcaps. My service rep. Told me it must be what I'm washing my the with. I told him I wash my car 4 to 6 times a year. I don't brush the rims and I don't put any chemicals on the car or rims that would take the paint off. The service rep brought another man out to check my car. I assume a manager. He looked under the rim and said I must the paint was off only where we could see it. Of course that's true, that's the part exposed to the elements.
The manager went on to say I was no longer under my 45,000 mile warranty. I have 45,600 miles on my car.
I told him I have an extended warranty, but that made no difference. I also told him this was my third time coming in with the same problem in the last two years, it didn't make a difference.
No one there seems to care that I can't get service there or that I'm riding around on rusted rims. I need help... Please
