Ripoff the business that doesnt give a dam

This happened to me in 1995. I bought a brand new 1996 Sedan DeVille. I left the dealership with my new car. Less than twenty miles away from the dealership, the entire axel fell out on the road. Fortunatly I was in the parking lot of a K-Mart and not on a highway. I could have been killed.

I called Lund. They came and got it. The next morning in was back in my drive-way. No note, nothing but a work order on the seat. I told them I didn't want this now repaired car. They said I had to accept it.

I called the Attorney general. I had an open and shut case but it took a year. Meanwhile I left my car in the drive-way, with only 20 miles on it.in 1997 they had to sell me a 1997 for the price of the 1996. I had no car for one year. They were nasty and rude and never returned a call to me. Never an apology or anything.

They also showed me a book filled with letters from satisfied customers. Isn't it strange that there were no dates on any of the letters or addresses. Just signatures. Obviously they were phony letters to fool the public.
