I am among the many victims of the fraudulant acts of Courtesy Auto World. I traded in 2 newer cars for an older one in attempts to lower my payments in this tough economy. I also cashed in a small retirement account to provide a substantial dowm payment to off set the negative equity. Courtesy hasn't paid either of my trade ins nor have they secured funding on the car I bought. The lien holders of my trade ins (Chrysler) have now put liens on my home. Other creditors have closed accounts since it's appearing on my credit reports that I have 2 defaulting car notes. Attorneys don't want to take such a case stating that they have nothing to collect for their fees from the dealership either, and I certainly don't have the money to pay them. Though the state attorney general's office is involved, we all know how slowly they can move on such cases, but in the meantime, I am financially being flushed down the toliet after a life time of hard work. Our needs are urgent and immediate since there are 2 cars needing paid off. Without them providing the proper paperwork, I can't even drive the older used car I bought, I can't get license or insurance so it sets in the drive as a daily reminder of someone's greed and dishonesty. Can anyone help?
