I had gone down to Auto World USA in Patchogue to consider trading in my 2003 Dodge Stratus for a new vehicle. My car still has a loan on it, and Danielle assured me that the loan on my old car could easily be tacked on to my new loan, that they do this all the time. They had me drive the new truck home on a Sunday promising me that by the following day when all banks were open I would get an approval in writing and be done with the whole deal... So simple! From that point on it was nothing but a nightmare. Two weeks later I had to go back down to Auto World to re-sign paperwork because the first set of paperwork did not go through properly, and the bank did not approve me. Needless to say, I re-signed everything, still driving the new truck and almost two months later, I am informed that the lona still has not been approved and there is no other options for me. So we decided to cancel the deal, to get my old car back and even that was a disaster. They ended up selling my old car to a wholesaler the same day it was traded in, even with a lean on the title and no approval on my new vehicle. They kept my down payment of $1000.00 which they say athey are not giving back due to the money they lost in the deal falling through which I honestly do not feel like that is my problem whatsoever!!! I finally got my old car back but to think they let me drive around in a vechile with no loan on it, with plates that were not registered with DMV properly really freaks me out... Anything could have happened. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER... EVERRRRR go to Auto World USA in Patchogue. It is NOT worth it!
