I Dont Even Know Where to Begin, So I Will Start From the Beginning of this Whole Mess
My Daughter, Roseanne Wilder, Wanted To Buy A Mini Van From Gateway Chevrolet In Chicago 5373 N. Milwaukee. She Had Them Run her Credit. When they ran her credit it came back that they would not be able to get her the loan she needed to purchase the 2002 Chevy Ventura Mini Van. She Also Sighed A Promissory Note for 1000.00 For The Down Payment because she thought she would be able to get the loan on her own But Then They Told Her She Needed A Co-Signer.
So My Daughter Called Me On The Phone Three Times To Ask Me To Co-Sign For Her My Credit Wasnt The Best either I Had Just Filed Bankruptcy about a year ago from that Date 8/19 So I didnt think they would let me co-sign for nothing so I told her To Go Ahead And Let Them Run My Credit Thinking They Would Say No Well They said I was not eligble to co-sign but that I could purchase the van in my name. So My Daughter wanted This Mini Van I Felt I Was Under A Lot Of Presser I live in Portage Indiana. (52.24 miles from the dealership) This Sales Person Followed My Daughter All The Way Back To Indiana (52.24 miles) to get The Papers Signed For This Van They Called Me At 930 At Night to Come home from work to sign these papers So I Did, Didnt Want To But
I Did Then I Found On The Computer On Gateways Web Sight The Van I Bought having the Same VIN And All For 1000.00 Cheaper Then What We Paid. My Daughter then called the finance manager and he Said that he would knock off $700 off the $1000 that was owed per the promissory note and to just send a money order for the balance of $300 by the due date. He said he would fix the paperwork on his end to reflect the difference and then fax it to her we NEVER received the revised information. Nor did we receive and statement that the amount was due. Not in 30 days, 60 days not until this last week which 8 month later a man name Robert Blade from CMS (Transworld Systems, Inc. Out of Indianapolis, IN) Calls Me and Tells Me I Owe 1247.70 To Gateway And They Are Taking me to Court if I don't pay.
I did not Get Any Letters No Nothing about any of this til today My Daughter try to talk to this person he was very rude. He said that he sent certified letters that we never received and also when we asked him to fax the paperwork on the case he claimed he had no paperwork. Gateway was also suppose to supply me with a second key to the Van and Never Even Sent Me the Second Key As Promised I Dont Know What To Think This Man That Called Me Treated Me Like I Was Garbage Told Me It Looks Like I Got The Money So Pay Him Now He Was In My Credit report want a credit card number to take care of this 1247.70 I told him I dont owe this there is a lot more Im just so up set Please can you help
