Check this out. Had a car loan with household for over 2 years never late. The engine blew i called them up and told them come and take the car as i cant afford to fix and pay for it.
I told them i was going to file bankruptcy. They told me just send in 600 and we will let you keep the car send you a lien release and state on your credit file account settled. I sent them the money they sent me the lien release and put on my credit file"chargeoff"they lied because they didnt want the car they just wanted to get some money.
The money i could have given to a bankruptcy lawyer. Real bunch of pieces of shi!!!
