To keep this simple, I purchased a Dodge Ram SRT 10 truck from Texas Direct Auto on 12-11-08. I paid with a cashiers check and was told that I would get my title in about 2 weeks. It is now 1-28-09 and I have no idea where my title is.
Unlike most of the other reports that I have read about this company, I have been able to contact Amanda, who is in the title dept. There... BUT she basically keeps giving me a bunch of Bull about the title. To be honest, I do not think that they know where it is. I called them yesterday (01-27-09) and was told that I should have in in 1 week. We'll see.
I wish that I would have known about this website before I purchased this vehicle from this company. I THOUGHT that because they had so many positives and only 1 negative on ebay that they were legit.
At this point I really don't know what to do if they don't produce my title but I will definately update my report of any new changes and I hope that after reading all the reports about this bogus auto dealer people will think twice about doing business with them.
