Over thanksgiving we visited friends in florida. We rented a car from a small local business instead of a franchise. Big mistake! A $200.00 deposit was charged to my credit card that they said after the return of the car in good condition would be retuned.
After we had been home a few days I checked with the credit card co. And there had been no credit. I called advantage and they apoligized and said I would be taken care of immediately, just wait a few days for processing. We did. No luck.
After calling again (23) times in 28days, I had been hung up on, told it had already been done, told my credit card co. Must have given it to someone else, and told always theyd check into it and call back. The only time my call was returned it was by a different salesman that really didnt know what was happening here.
After finally telling them I had filed a report with the card company and the card company was taking over I recieved credit on the 28th day.
