Mr. Transmission
Aka K&S Enterprises rip-off abusive unprofessional liars The individuals at this company are nasty people

I stopped by this place of business to inquire about repairs to my car because it was hesitating to drive forward. Murray Green, employee in one of the offices, informed me that they could send a tow truck to pick up my vehicle so that they could put it on a computer to diagnose it.

The next day, I received a call from Murray stating my car needed a new transmission. I asked him about how much would it cost and he stated about $900 with a year warranty and I could add a three year warranty for an additional $300. Since I still had payments to make on the car, I ok'd the repair. He said it would be ready by Friday 1/10/03.

I called on Friday to see what time I could pick up my car and was told by Murray that more parts had to be ordered. I asked what parts and were they included in the price he quoted me. He stated he was unsure and would call me back the following week with a definite price. I called a male friend of mine and asked if he would accompany me to the repair shop because I was afraid I was being ripped off. He drove me to the shop and we talked with Murray and some tall guy whose name was not on his shirt (I figured he was one of the mechanics because his hands were black and greasy).

They assured me and my male friend that all the parts were new with the exception of one case half because the one from my car was still in good shape. All repairs including tax would be near $1400 (which included the additional 3 year warranty) and that my car would be ready for pick-up the following week (to give time for the parts to come in). I informed Murray I would pick my car up on 1/23/03.

I went in to pick my car up on 1/23/03 and informed Murray I could not afford the additional 3 year warranty at that time. He asked me to wait a moment. He then came back to the office and stated there had been some additional repairs he did not know of and my bill was a total of $2,413.63. I almost passed out. I stated I did not authorize the repairs and I was threatened that if I did not pay, I would not get my car and they would place a mechanical lien on it. I had already stated in the first place that I had to fix the car because I still had a financial obligation so they knew how to jam me.

I was so angry at this point. Then he call himself showing me a breakdown of the parts and prices. I told him I felt like I was being taken advantage of because I was a woman and because I was alone. Murray asked how much time did I need to come up with the rest of the money... I stated by my next payday on 2/6/03... He said that would be ok. I took my sons with me to pick up my car on 2/6/03. I paid the balance of $1,414.00 (told Murray to keep the change), signed the service agreement and was given a yellow copy that said "paid in full".

I noticed there was two copies in Murray's hand. I asked if I could compare the two and he said I didn't need to because it belonged to another customer. When I turned the car on it was hesitating to move and the radio would not come on. I did not move the car from the property of Mr. Transmission. I called for Murray and informed him of what was happening. I male came from the back with thename "Greg" imprinted on his shirt and lifted the hood. He came around to the driver side and opened the fuse box. He replaced a fuse and the radio began to play.

Murray insisted the car just needed to be driven a few days to get some gas throughout the system because it had been sitting. The car hesitated the entire weekend.

By Wednesday 2/12/03 the car was choking down the highway. I choked all the way back to Mr. Transmission. I was balling when I got out of the car. Murray came out asking what was the problem with the car. I never said there was a problem with the car. I knew at that point I had been ripped off. I demanded he fix my car as I had already paid $2400. A spanish looking guy from the back lifted my hood and there was black stuff all over the place.

Murray started swearing they never touched that part of my car and that it was my problem and up to me to get it repaired. The tall guy who was there when my male friend accompanied me came out from the office screaming at me "*uck you and get out lady!" I said "who the hell are you?" and he stated "I'm the *uckin owner, that's who I am".

My son ran over to where we were and told the man he was not going to disrespect his mother and began taking his shirt off. I grabbed my son and told him to go and call the police and call the neighbor to pick us up. The police came and gave me an "event number" to show proof I called and they came out to the scene but informed me I had to pursue civil action against the company and advised me not to leave my car there for further repairs. I drove my car off their property.

Then to top off everything, I received a call from the lien holder of my car stating Mr. Transmission called them and stated they were placing a "mechanical lien" against my car because I still had a balance owed to them for repairs. What big liars! First of all, why would they give me a receipt that said "PAID IN FULL" and of most why in the hell would they bring my car down from up in the air on those exhaust things and give me the keys to drive off.

They are stupid. If I comitted a crime, why did they allow me to drive off with the police present? I need legal help to sue these nasty lowdown dirty monsters.
